A view of the Past

Hello, and thank you for visiting the albums section of the site.

Over the next few days or so a large number of  images are going to be made available within this section. These are the majority of the photographs which are kept albums in the presbytery and they are being made available here for the enjoyment of all our parishioners both past and present as well as the families of those who attended services here.

It is my hope to be able to provide worthwhile information about these images where it is available so, if you see a image and know either the people in it or have an anecdote about the event depicted please let me know and I will happily provide a way of including this information.

The format of the original has been maintained as mush as is practical for digital media (because we had to sort them somehow), therefore the four original albums are shown below. Please feel free to click on each to see it’s contents.

I want to maintain  an every growing album of pictures, stories and ‘other stuff’ which we the parishioners might find interesting on this site so I am appealing for everyone to have a think and to let me know if they would like to contribute to the site in any format pictures, stories, memoirs or anything else you feel that others would enjoy. pictures do not have to be solely of services conducted at Our Lady Star of the Sea, but also I encourage all input from our friends at St. John the Baptist in Dartmouth.
Going further: If there is anyone who would like to contribute to the sit, or has and suggestion for it, please make yourself known and I will happily provide a mechanism or a login for you to be able to participate in this site.
